2. Services Description

The Floating Book Café operates a riverboat café offering specialty beverages, pastries, a curated lending library, and event hosting. Our website provides information about our offerings, allows table reservations, and facilitates communication with our team.

3. Reservations & Cancellations

Reservations can be made through our website, by phone, or by email. We ask that you adhere to the following policies:

  • Reservations are confirmed via email or phone within 24 hours.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the reserved time.
  • No-shows may result in a temporary hold on future reservation privileges.
  • Private event bookings require a minimum 48-hour cancellation notice.
  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel reservations due to weather conditions affecting safe river navigation.

4. Onboard Conduct

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you:

  • Treat all staff, guests, and property with respect.
  • Handle library books with care and return them to their designated areas.
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by our crew at all times.
  • Refrain from excessive noise that may disturb other guests' reading experience.
  • Do not bring outside food or beverages aboard the café.

5. Library Usage

Our onboard library is available for all guests to browse and read during their visit. Books may not be removed from the vessel unless purchased from the Bookstore Corner. Guests who damage or lose library books may be charged a replacement fee.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the playcurrentwnk.com website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of the Floating Book Café and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Floating Book Café shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services. We make every effort to ensure guest safety aboard our vessel but are not responsible for personal belongings left unattended.
